Camogie Team create history and reach County Final

Our Camogie ladies have reached their first ever County Final after beating a fancied Croydon in the County Semi-Final. The girls headed into this game as underdogs as Croydon had defeated them in the championship earlier this year. Playing against the breeze in the first half, the girls took the game to their oppositions and the constant pressure yielded a good return of scores. The girls were worthy leaders at half time as the scoreline was 3-1 to 1-3.
Croydon were quicker off the mark in the second half and managed to get a goal within the first minute. However Fullen gaels pushed on from this and managed to bag another three goals, while their backs stood up well and held their opposition to only 1 point from play.  The final score was 6-07 to 2-6 in Fullen Gaels favour.
They will now face Tara on the 12th October in Ruislip at 2pm in the County Final. We wish the girls and Management team the very best of luck.
