Fullen Gaels Camogie Team met Tara in the final in their first outing of 2013.Fullen Gaels Sinéad Boyle, Karen O'Leary and Ciara Walsh covered most of the pitch working hard and making life difficult for Tara's midfield. At the end of the first half Tara had managed to keep Fullen Gaels tally down to one point following two saves inside the square. Tara's defense showed an unwillingness to back down; Margie O'Connor and Joni Traynor made some crucial clearances to send the ball back up the pitch and out of danger. As the second half started the light was fast fading and the playing conditions increasingly more difficult. Tara started the second half well with Angela Kenneally, Fiona Morrisey and Elaine Burke all scoring points from play. Fullen Gaels goalie Ciara Healy was impressive and upset the Tara forward line by stopping all other attempts at her goal line. Fullen Gaels came back in the last quarter and ruined Dearbháil O'Neill's clean sheet in goal by putting two goals past her in the space of 5 minutes; the first coming off a controversial 45 and the second was quick thinking from Fullen Gael's Una Haren. Tara however managed to hold onto their lead and their efforts in the first half paid off with a final score of Tara 3-6 and Fullen Gaels 2-1.Fullen Gaels did not leave empty handed, Sinéad Boyle was named player of the tournament by Rita O'Hanlon Wright and Etty Kelly London Camogie President.
